Oscar’s Creamery has been a Houston favorite since 1986 when “Oscar” Rathert opened shop. Oscar had worked in the dairy industry for decades and decided to use his expert knowledge to create premium ice cream using his own recipes. No exceptions for high quality were made – using multiple vendors to find the best individual ingredients.

Through the years, Oscar has passed down the tradition and this premium ice cream continues to delight all who taste its creamy goodness. Specializing in corporate and private ice cream caterings in the Houston area - Oscar's Creamery can bring its legendary ice cream cart to your party, from sundaes to root beer floats! Oscar's also offers its premium ice cream for wholesale - featured by many of Houston's top restaurants. Although Oscar's no longer has a scoop shop, you can order custom gourmet ice cream cakes or pick up your favorite pint size flavor at local stores.
